Jimmy Kimmel Is Running for Vice President of the United States

Jimmy Kimmel has announced that he is running for Vice President of the United States.

During his episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (May 12), the 48-year-old talk show host pulled up on a tour bus and announced his candidacy outside of the studio.

While giving his opening monologue inside the studio, Jimmy was interrupted by a CNN breaking news report.

“It’s time to take our country back. From whom? I don’t know, but I want it back!” Jimmy said to his “supporters” on Hollywood Boulevard. “As Vice President of the United States, I will never stop fighting for you. Unless Game of Thrones is on. In which case, I will stop fighting for an hour, or slightly more, depending how many times I have to rewind to figure out what’s going on.”

When asked why he is running, Jimmy said, “I love this country so much, if it was a woman, I would have sex with it.”
